In Daruvar, headquarters of the Czech minority in Croatia, the
biennial traditional folk festival called Vonička took place on November 23.
The performers were singers, dancers and musicians, members of the Czech
minority from 29 Czech minority associations. Great Hall of the Czech home in
Daruvar with the newly renovated and refurbished stage was filled with sounds
of Czech songs and numerous audience could enjoyed the Czech dances performed
by amateur dancers in original Czech colorful costumes.
Czech Beseda Rijeka presented the girls from folk group Ráček that danced
the dance "Skočná" prepared by Prague choreographer Eva Zetova.
