Several folk dance groups are active in the Czech Beseda Rijeka almost since its establishment.
For many years, "Riječke Ribice" were one of the top dance groups among those who were active in the Czech Union in Croatia. With great success they represented the Czechs living in Croatia as well as their city Rijeka. Their leader was Snježana Husak, while choreographies were prepared by Eva Zetová and Lenka Homolová, choreographers from Prague. Ms Zetová proposed designs for the two sets of beautiful costumes, made of original material brought from the Czech Republic. The ensemble also danced traditional dances of their area (Kvarner) for which they had local costumes.
The "Ribice" have stopped working, but Czech Beseda Rijeka still has three dance groups: Ráček (younger and older), LIW (younger and older age groups) and the dance group of adults - married couples.
